Be The Change Your Community Needs

Spoken Existence Ministries first began its dedicated service to the communities of Warren and Vance County in the year 2000, aiming to address the unique needs of the local population. Since our inception, we have strived to create positive change and uplift those around us. In 2019, in order to further enhance our outreach and strengthen our capacity to serve, we became a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This pivotal transition has allowed us to expand our mission more effectively and positively impact the lives of countless individuals and families within our communities.

We believe in reaching people directly—through heart, mind, and hands.

Meet Our Founders

William’s background in agriculture and youth development is the backbone of our Y.A.D. (Youth Agriculture Development) Program. A true field-to-fork believer, he uses farming as a tool to teach discipline, responsibility, and economic sustainability to the next generation.

“We don’t just teach kids how to grow food—we show them how to grow their purpose.”
— William

Tonya brings a deep love for people and a heart for service. With decades of experience in education, caregiving, and ministry, she leads with empathy and purpose. Her passion lies in creating safe spaces where young people can grow and seniors can thrive with dignity and joy.

“God gave me a mission to serve from the ground up—starting with the soil, the soul, and the heart. That’s what SEM Life is about.”
— Tonia

Why We Do It

Our calling is simple: to uplift and activate our community through service. From mentoring young farmers to delivering meals to elders, every action we take is rooted in love, equity, and faith.

“Believe it. Speak it. Live it.” isn’t just a motto. It’s a movement—and we’re just getting started.

Ways to Give

Spoken Existence Ministries depends on the generosity of people like you. Every donation helps us put tools in the hands of youth, meals on the tables of elders, and hope in the hearts of families across Warren and Vance Counties.

Whether it’s $5 or $500, your gift directly fuels our mission—and keeps programs like the Y.A.D. youth agriculture initiative and Elder Support Services alive and thriving.

“When you give, you become part of something real, something rooted.”
